There are days my son will just throw the food I cooked for him on the floor. Sometimes I find myself becoming overwhelmed with emotions after putting time into something that took me hours to cook for him. ⁠⁠

Non-attachment is about learning how to let go of negative thoughts and emotions and learning how to transition them into positive thoughts. The goal is to not become attached to certain beliefs, opinions, feelings, or behaviors. ⁠⁠

Instead of being controlled by emotions. we become interested in them. We become relaxed because we’re not identifying ourselves to our feelings. When conflict arises, we approach it with a clear mind. A willingness to be open minded helping us become more grounded with situations.⁠⁠

Sometimes that is life. You put a lot of effort into something and then it’s annihilated in one fell swoop. It’s about the lesson.
